Home Automation · Local-First, Cloud-Optional

A Smart Home That Works
When the Internet Doesn't.

Lighting, climate, access, cameras, and energy — designed and built on Home Assistant, running on hardware in your home. No monthly subscription, no vendor deciding your lights need a firmware update at 2am, no data leaving the building.

Five Apps, None That Talk.

  • Every brand wants its own app and its own cloud — nothing works together
  • The internet drops and suddenly your lights and locks stop responding
  • Devices get discontinued and the cloud that ran them shuts off
  • Your motion, presence, and camera data is sold or leaked from someone else's server

One Brain. Local Control. Your Rules.

We design and build a Home Assistant hub that unifies whatever gear you have — and whatever you add later — into one local system with automations that actually make sense for how you live.

// 01 — DESIGN & INTEGRATION

One Hub for Everything.

A Home Assistant core on local hardware that speaks every common protocol, so mixed-brand gear finally cooperates.

  • Zigbee, Z-Wave, Matter, and Thread on a local radio
  • Wi-Fi and cloud devices pulled in with local control where possible
  • Lighting, climate, blinds, locks, cameras, and energy in one place
  • Presence and room-level sensors for automations that feel invisible
  • Clean dashboards for phone, tablet, and wall-mounted panels
  • Voice control that runs on-device, not through a data broker
// 02 — RESILIENCE & OWNERSHIP

Yours to Keep.

Built so it keeps working when the internet, or the vendor, goes away — and so you (or we) can maintain it for years.

  • Core automations run entirely offline — no cloud round-trip
  • Automatic local + off-site encrypted config backups
  • Battery/UPS-backed hub so an outage doesn't kill control
  • Version-controlled configuration — every change is reversible
  • Secure remote access over VPN, never an open port
  • Documented handover, or an optional maintenance plan

Common Questions.

Usually not. Home Assistant integrates with thousands of existing brands, so most of what you own comes into the system as-is. We'll flag anything that's cloud-only or unreliable and suggest a local-first alternative — but only when it's worth the swap.

Your core automations keep running. Because the hub and the local radios live in your home, lights, locks, climate, and schedules all work offline. You only lose remote access from outside the house and any feature that genuinely depends on an external service (like weather forecasts).

Both. The same local-first approach scales to small offices, workshops, short-term rentals, and multi-unit buildings — access control, occupancy-based lighting and HVAC, energy monitoring, and camera integration. We size the hub and network to the space.

Yes. You get mobile apps for iOS and Android, wall panels, and voice control — including fully local voice that never sends audio to a third party. If you already use Alexa or Google, we can bridge them in; if you'd rather not, everything works without them.

The whole system is open-source and yours. The configuration is version-controlled and documented at handover, so you can tweak automations yourself or hand it to any Home Assistant tech. We also offer an optional maintenance plan if you'd rather we keep it updated and healthy.
